Citizen involvement is critical to the City of McAlester. There are many boards and committees which citizens can become involved in which cover various aspects of city operations. If you would like more detailed information regarding a particular board, the city clerk at City Hall would be more than happy to get you that information. If you are interested in serving the community on one of the various boards or commissions, you may apply with an application form.
